Dear Parents, 

Thank you for everything you are doing to support students at home. We will continue to provide educational resource packets to aid students at home. If you have any questions or concerns about using these packets, please reach out to your child’s teacher. The details for packet pick up are below. We will have a drive thru pick up lane on April 20 from 9:00am-12:00pm. Please try to use this time to pick up packets. If you are not able to make it during this time, we will leave the boxes of packets on the front steps of the school until 6:00pm. Packets will be organized by grade level. Please keep social distancing expectations in mind and be aware of those around you. 

To make drive up pick up of packets more efficient, we are changing procedures a bit to help the flow of cars during this time. Please enter the bus lane through Fillmore Street (this is normally the exit for the bus lane). Do not enter the bus lane from the parking lot side of the building. Please be mindful of traffic and do not block major roads and side streets. Lunch for children will still be available from 10:00-11:30 and lunch pick up will be at the end of the drive thru bus lane. 

Packet pick up directions: 

• Time/date: April 20 from 9:00-12:00 for drive thru pick up. Grade level boxes will be left on the school steps until 6:00pm. 
• Please enter the bus lane from Fillmore St (normally the bus lane exit). 
• Please tell the staff member the name of your child/children, name of their teacher, and the grade level.
• You will then pull forward to receive your packet
• After getting your packets, if you would like to pick up a lunch, you will pull off to the left side of the bus lane. If you are not picking up a lunch, you will be able to drive through on the right side of the bus lane and exit through the parking lot. 

On a personal note, I am constantly blown away by the commitment of the Lincoln family, parents and staff in their willingness to support our children through this time. We are better together and will emerge from these trials with a greater sense of interdependence and community. Though this year did not go as expected, I cannot see myself being anywhere else than at Lincoln Elementary School. Thank you parents for sharing your students with us.

Queridos Padres,

Gracias por todo lo que están haciendo para apoyar a los estudiantes en casa. Continuaremos proporcionando paquetes de recursos educativos para ayudar a estudiantes en casa. Si usted tiene preguntas o preocupaciones sobres estos paquetes, por favor comuniquese con el/la maestro/a de su hijo/a. Los detalles para recoger los paquetes están abajo. Vamos a tener un carril para recoger los paquetes el 20 de Abril de las 9:00am-12:00pm. Por favor intente ir durante este tiempo para recoger los paquetes. Si usted no puede recogerlos durante este tiempo, nosotros dejaremos las cajas con los paquetes en las escaleras de enfrente de la escuela hasta las 6:00pm. Los paquetes estarán organizados por nivel de grado. Por favor mantenga en mente, distanciamiento social y sea consciente de las personas a su alrededor.

Para hacer que la recogida de paquetes sea más eficiente, estamos cambiando los procedimientos para ayudar un poco con el flujo de carros durante este tiempo. Por favor entre por el carril del autobús por Fillmore Street (normalmente este es el carril de salida del autobús). No entre por el carril del autobús que está por el parqueadero al lado del edificio.Por favor sea consciente del tráfico y no bloquee carreteras principales, y calles laterales. Almuerzo para niños/as todavía va a estar disponible de 10:00-11:30 y para recoger el almuerzo será al final del carril del autobús.

Direcciones para recoger los paquetes:

• Hora/fecha: 20 de Abril de 9:00-12:00 para recoger por autoservicio. Se dejarán cajas de nivel de grado en las escaleras de la escuela hasta 6:00pm.
• Por favor entre por el carril del autobús de Fillmore St (normalmente la salida del autobús)
• Por favor de decir al miembro del personal el nombre de su hijo(s)/a(s), nombre de sus maestro/a, y el nivel de grado.
• Después usted avanzara para recibir su paquete.
• Después de recoger sus paquetes, si gusta recoger almuerzo, te moverás al lado izquierdo del carril del autobús. Si no va a recoger almuerzo, podrá manejar por el lado derecho del carril del autobús y salir por el parqueadero.

En una nota personal, constantemente me estoy sorprendiendo por el compromiso de la familia Lincoln, y su disponibilidad de apoyar a nuestros estudiantes durante este tiempo. Juntos somos mejores y vamos a salir de estas pruebas con un mayor sentido de interdependencia y comunidad. Aunque este año no fue como se esperaba, no puedo verme en ningún otro lado que en la Escuela Primaria de Lincoln. Gracias a ustedes los padres por compartir a sus estudiantes con nosotros/as.
